Paul Landon Recent Images 9.–25.7.
This exhibition will include the first public presentation of the photo work Untitled (Alexanderplatz). The work, composed of 150 different colour ink jet prints of the same cityscape taken on different days at different times, documents an ongoing project of continually returning to the same place. The regular arrangement of the photographs, covering two walls of the gallery, recalls the grid structure of Peter Behrens's 1932 Berolinahaus, a fragment of which is depicted in the images.
Näyttelyssä on ensimmäistä kertaa esillä valokuvasarja Untitled (Alexanderplatz). Työ koostuu 150 värivedoksesta, jotka on otettu samasta kaupunkimaisemasta eri päivinä ja kellonaikoina. Teos on dokumentaatio yhä jatkuvasta projektista, jonka puitteissa palataan aina samaan paikkaan. Valokuvat on aseteltu peittämään gallerian kaksi seinää tavalla, joka muistuttaa Peter Behrensin Berolinahaus –teoksen (1932) struktuurista, ja jonka fragmentti on kuvattuna kuvissa.
